The Municipality of Lecco is investing great energy in the implementation of major urban redevelopment projects. One of these is the re-functionalization of the former railroad yard, known as La Piccola Velocità, an area of more than 30 thousand square meters, now used as a parking lot and market area, in which there is a covered space composed of two bodies of about 1200 square meters. We partnered with the municipality in this project to return the space to the community as a place for cultural and recreational services and activities. The project includes co-design activities for the configuration of the project guidelines, engagement for the involvement of the area, and the production of communication and promotion initiatives from the earliest stages of the construction of the space.
