Self Portrait is a project that aims to draw attention to the theme of the end of life and palliative care, activating the relationship between culture and health to put patient care at the centre. Promoted by Accademia Nazionale di Medicina, the project included artistic workshops for 5 ALS patients, the publication of a training course on the end of life that reached over 8,000 doctors, the organisation of awareness-raising events, and the activation of a DAT desk in Genoa. Itinerari Paralleli took care of the project’s overall management.
